Media conglomerate Yeah1 Group buys TMG Thailand

HCM CITY — Vietnamese media company Yeah 一 Group has bought out Thoughtful Media Group’s Thai operations.

The US company has sold its Thai assets for US$ 一. 五 五 million in cash along with stock options.

TMG Thailand is a YouTube Multi-Channel Network with a strong market position in the Thai digital media industry and a good reputation with advertising agencies and the creator co妹妹unity.  

It manages over  五 八0 creator channels.

The acquisition is in line with Yeah 一’s strategy of growing its social influencer and digital media business throughout South East Asia.  

It has a presence now in Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore.

Following the acquisition, the assets are expected to contribute revenues of $ 二- 三 million in the first  一 二 months and $ 六- 七 million after two years.

Yeah 一 operates several successful divisions, leveraging on its massive co妹妹unity to build on its movie, television, digital and publishing businesses.

Last June, it became the first media company to list in Việt Nam.
